Definitely a safe space to experience the drinking culture in Kamata! This place has a long history in Kamata. They have the entire building and there are 4 whole floors they use for the restaurant. Food is pretty good - lightly seasoned but certainly not bland. There’s also a great variety. But most of all, the prices seem to not have changed for so long! Staff are also so friendly. I just love interacting with the obaachans here!

A historic bar in Kamata. It's an old building. The 3rd and 4th floors are tatami seats. Table seats on the 1st and 2nd floors. Each floor is staffed by a skilled madam who seems to be the floor master. Violations of the rules will not be overlooked and will be noted. Especially be careful where you don't wear shoes. If you cross the line, the floor master will point out vigorously. It's the same if you come out wearing slippers in the bathroom by mistake. You can really feel the history in the tatami room. Or rather, I feel like I'm in a history textbook. The menu on the wall is pasted with over-the-top sellotape. Today's recommended menu can be viewed in the handwritten notes on the back of the floor master's memo pad. When they take orders, they write it on a mysterious memo paper, but I can't imagine what kind of operation it is. I really don't know how long I've been doing this style. If you drink in Kamata, you can't miss this place. The atmosphere is great.
