More Comments at Google MapDang! If you only have one chance to eat in Sangenchaya, then this is the one. Located in a shabby narrow alley, but the interior decoration is well-designed. The waitress was ok, but the chefs were really dedicated. Watching them cook in front of you is really an enjoyment. When it comes to food, it is superb. Tasty for sure, but also chefs did a good job making them a masterpiece. You know you come to the right place when the Sashimi is served like this. Oh, I forgot the wines. It was good… as far as I can remember. Got to forgive me, as I drank too much that night.
Perfect dinner!! Every dish is gooood! They have very special fruit alcoholic drink like momo and Mikan, definitely worth a try!!!
We made a reservation at 7pm on a weekday, and it was fully booked by 7pm. Since it is a Japanese restaurant, there were many customers from overseas. Reservations can be made using an iPad, and you can quickly check if items are out of stock. The clerk was also nice and spoke to me kindly. Tuna roll for appetizer? The seasoned tuna tataki on the seaweed was delicious, and I had high hopes for it. I like rare tuna cutlets and have eaten them often, but this was my first time trying bonito! It was grilled and then fried, giving it a beautiful color and appearance. I had the Maitake mushroom tempura, which I always order when I can find it, and the sashimi platter. They are all delicious! I couldn't eat it because I was full, but the clay pot rice served at the other table also smelled good and looked delicious, so I plan to try it next time I come! It was a delicious Japanese restaurant. Sangenjaya is a popular store and you can't go wrong, but this one has become one of my favorite stores to visit!
