Went here 4-5 times. A warm, cozy mom-and-pop izakaya, good food and great sake. No English and a menu that seemed to defy Google Translate (handwriting issue?) but it’s all good. Sashimi particularly recommended (though watch out if you just make an order for sashimi you will get a huge boat of it even if you’re dining solo). Shumai also excellent. Surprising good scallion pancake. Ginger pork. The little starters very substantial. A counter with 7-8 seats and then a tatami area with four tables, 2F near Meguro station. The mother was extremely kind and patient with us. Thank you for all the good food and drink!

みかんサワー mikan sour(Shochu with Japanese orange and Soda) and housemade しゅうまい shumai(steamed pork dumpling) are the best! I would come back when I visit Tokyo again.
