Fantastic meal from start to finish with an excellent and affordable sake pairing. We found this izakaya through other glowing reviews online and it did not disappoint in the slightest. The restaurant was very accommodating to us non-Japanese speakers and the owner was very charming and helpful in recommending sakes and food pairings. This is a local gem and we had several other guests remark that we were lucky to have found this place, which we couldn’t agree with more.Recommend the eggplant special, the sashimi trio, agedashi tofu, and tempura. For sake, just give the staff your preferences (I.e. dry vs. sweet, strong vs.diluted) and they will do wonders. Can’t wait to return when we’re next in Tokyo.

One of the best restaurants I’ve been too. This time I will only show pictures of the sake I drank there. It’s one of the finest places to go if you want a master to serve you the best sake in the city. Just let the chef serve you until you drop. When in Tokyo, visit this place, step in and enjoy

We had the best night! We booked in advance (thank you HotPepper and Google Translate) and we said we were English speaking. Staff were friendly and worked hard to accommodate us and they also had English menus ready for us. Food was delicious and every sakè recommendation was perfect. If you’re visiting Tokyo and you love sakè I recommend booking in advance and going here, it’s so good!
