we opened a door and jazz reached our ears from below the stairway, where it hides an underground izakaya where locals go, each skewer was a perfect journey, smokey and simple with complex tastes. follow the jazz is what one might say.

Crazy yummy yaki-lots-of-things! The chef grills everything by hand over a charcoal grill but the order is at his own choosing and pace so I would advise against it if you're in a rush and want everything right away. IF you're in good company and want to enjoy the tastiest grilled morsels you've ever tasted at a pace that really let's you enjoy the flavors, drinks and jazzy lo-fi atmosphere then hop on in. It definitely won't disappoint.

Very cozy izakaya with beautiful jazz music, super friendly chef and waitress, English menu available. Delicious skewers and of cause nice sake and draft beers, ask for Dassai sake to go with yakitori, best match! Just 3minutes walks from Hatsudai Station. They served salads, wrapped rice, hot pot and ramen as well. My favourite is the Tsukimi-tsukune, is a chicken meat ball with raw egg yolk.
