A lovely small Izakaya kitchen with good food and very friendly and lovely staff. The dishes we had were all delicious and we got great service from the staff. Good wine and sake selection. Just 3 Minutes walk from Komaba Todaimae station.

Lunch that inherits the DNA of the best set meal restaurant This is an izakaya located a few doors away from the famous set meal restaurant "Hishidaya" in front of Komaba Tokyo University. I'm actually having lunch. The lineup is the same as Hishidaya's signboard menu, such as the specialty Ginger-yaki and tuna (supplied by Yamayuki). Moreover, even if Hishidaya is full, there may be seats here. Also, if the Hishidaya specialty ginger grill is sold out, you may be able to order it here. This time, I visited for the "Atsukiri Tonteki Set Meal" that I was interested in on the shop's Instagram. This menu is only available at Hishidaya Sakaba. The wonderfully thick pork is savoryly grilled until the surface is slightly crispy, and is generously drizzled with a special soy sauce-flavoured sauce with a hint of ginger and garlic. The rice goes well with just tonkatsu, but if you sprinkle this sauce on the cabbage and grow it, the rice will go even further. As a set restaurant, lunch is a little pricey, but I think it's worth a visit, even if it's just a short walk from Shibuya. One of my best set meals.
