Mujo was an amazing experience. I spent 2 weeks in Japan and this one my favorite food experience. The owner and chef was knowledgeable on everything that he serves. His Sake collection is vast and he explains the history of each one. He shows on a map, the location of where all the food was farmed, raised, or caught. All of which is extremely fresh. He also speaks English! This makes the eating experience even better for foreign visitors. I was the only foreigner in the restaurant and the food was all very traditional. As the Sake poured the small group of diners started to open up and we had a great group experience. The prices were amazing and you get to see the chef cook everything right in front of you. This restaurant is highly recommended!

We visited Mujo twice during our ten day stay near Shibuya. It's a place with a super talented master and a wonderful staff. It's difficult to describe all the things that were delicious and paired well with a variety of sakes and shochus. Things seem to change often at Mujo - the great list of sake and shochu and what's available from the kitchen. So I think it's best to say that you can trust Mujo and its team for a great evening of eating and drinking. Above all else, the hospitality at Mujo is a beautiful example of what I believe should be the future of dining out.

Great little place. They have some great sake. The owner is very knowledgeable about the sake, and can make great recommendations. The owner also speaks great English, so it's a great place to come if you don't speak Japanese. The other staff is also very nice. Overall a great place if you like sake.
