Super busy and delicious izakaya we stumbled across in Gotanda one night. We liked it so much we took a Tokyo resident back the next night and he loved it too - high praise with such a great variety available to him so easily in Tokyo. Highly recommend the Mikan sour, potato salad (with the most perfect egg balanced on top) and of course a great variety of yakitori. Service was patchy but honestly it was busy so it was forgives me, and at any rate I was too busy eating and drinking to care too much.

What a great experience. This place is the perfect mix of great food and a pub-like atmosphere. The skewers - all of the 13 we tried - were amazing. So was the friendliness of the open-minded staff. Stranges are more than welcome - in this local place.
