My go-to izakaya in Yoyogi area. Great Japanese sakes and dishes served by a polite ita-cho and cheerful hall staffs are highly recommended to anybody who loves Japanese tradition and culture.

I spoke with a customer. I made a reservation at Koagari. The store was busy, but it was separated by a screen, so you couldn't see the person next to you, so it was a good feeling. There was a wide selection of drinks and snacks, and the food was delicious. I asked if the seared bonito was delicious. It was voluminous and delicious. I thought I had eaten and drank a lot, but I was surprised in a good way because it was cheaper than I expected.
