Skewers were of good size & seasoned well. Lots of offals & meats to choose from. Spent about 2000yen here with drinks. Great for someone who likes to eat offals. However drinks weren’t great. It’s rather local, no English menu but they were very welcoming to us.

All the organs were so good quality, liver was perfectly grilled. reasonably priced with skewers starting from 180yen. Harami, karashi, reba were the best

Motsu of my dreams hahaha. Seriously, only now caming to see how offal is totally normalized in Japanese eating. And this place, well it’s kind of incredible for a westerner who likes the stuff. The motsu stew a must order. I didn’t know what most of it was, beyond the tripe, but it was delicious. In fact, I don’t know what most of the stuff I ate was, and I ate a fair bit of stuff. That raw dish? Maybe pig heart? Liver? But then I read that raw liver has been banned here. Offal translates terribly on Google Translate (it’s all euphemisms), so I was just pointing at pictures from other reviews. (No English menu.) Whatever it was, it was good, as were all the skewers, especially the ground one and the one that looks a little white and tubular (small intestine?). If the yakitori place up the street is a little edgy, this was more so. Actual tattoos on a couple of the young servers and a couple of diners, too. But also salarymen and a couple of dates and a middle-aged dude next to me who clearly had a lot to drink before getting there, so nothing too fringe. (Speaking of drink, the lemon sawa here was different - salt on the rim and the shochu apparently embedded in crushed ice, definitely shochu embedded in something - actually pretty good, once I got over being deprived of my beautiful ice.) No seats when I first got there around 8pm on a Saturday, but they let me wait. Service was friendly, maybe because they saw my enthusiasm. Sorry it took me so long to land at this place but sure glad I did.
