Shibuya City, Tokyo, Japan｜Beetle Harajuku

Awesome izakaya. We don't speak Japanese so we had to work a bit to order things, but they were understanding. The vibes are extremely good and the food was superb. Their karaage was the best we had on our trip. They had some great sashimi and skewers as well. So it was a good variety in bites, your classic beers on tap, etc.

Outstanding little izakaya spot. Lots of beer, lots of sake, and very decent food. I recommend the liver “paste” and the cream cheese sake stealer. The deep fried options are also very good. The Hanshin Tigers V. The Orix Buffaloes game was playing on two smaller screens while students and salarymen were enjoying good food and drinks. Would definitely return if I ran out of places to eat at in Tokyo… Hidden gem worth a quick detour.

Great little bar and a good oasis to get away from the crowds. Good selection of cold beer and good service!
