More Comments at Google MapThe food was fantastic. You can tell they really care about you enjoying your meal, and he put a lot of care in the presentation. Even though my Japanese is horrible, the staff made me feel comfortable and not out of place eating there.
8 minutes walk from Roppongi station! I visited [Yasukiyo]'s store! [Yasukiyo] opened in 2008 on the 1st floor of a building facing the main street that runs from Roppongi to Nishiazabu. I was introduced to it by a senior who lives nearby. The exterior looks like a so-called izakaya. There are 27 seats, mainly at the counter, tables, and one private room. When you suddenly look at the wall, there are posters and stickers autographed by famous artists and celebrities! With this casting alone, a major special program could be made (lol) That's no wonder, as the owner is Shiro Okada of ``Ox,'' known for songs such as ``Swan's Tears,'' which was all the rage during the heyday of Group Sounds. Currently, the restaurant is mainly run by the proprietress and a chef with a background in Western cuisine. This was my second visit, so I had a lighter menu as shown below. "Fruit Tomato" ¥660 "Fried octopus" ¥990 "Tondama" ¥500 "Yakisoba topped with egg" ¥990 "Kansai Udon" ¥880 Personally, I don't usually like restaurants that are owned by celebrities, but this restaurant exceeded my expectations in a good way! With warm hospitality, the chef has honed his skills in Western cuisine, and offers a variety of simple but robust menus. Before I knew it, I was naturally relaxed and smiling! Both of the dishes were delicious, but I think the signature dish ``tondama'', which is pork wrapped in egg, and ``Kansai udon (kasu udon)'', which has a refreshing soup stock, are must-try! We had a delicious and fun time, which explains why people from the industry gather! I would definitely like to visit again. It was a feast.
It was an izakaya that was loved by locals. I was glad that they were so kind to first-time visitors. I was surprised at how high the quality of the food was. The salad uses fresh ingredients and is crunchy, and the croquettes have a great texture. There weren't any izakayas around Nishiazabu that I could easily go to for the first time, but I was happy to finally find one like this.
