Best Izakaya EVER! The food is amazing, the place is really nice Japanese style, it's authentic. The people are really friendly and the service is great. I recommend it 100%, you need to try paring the food with the sake and beer, you'll love it! Great, place, great food, great people, great sake! 👍🏼😄

This fantastic little Izakaya restaurant seats ~20 people, so it's hard to get reservations here. My Japanese colleague took me here, which is critical because you won't be able to read anything on the menu, and no they don't have an English menu or menu with photos. Everything you order is up on the walls. Honestly I didn't know half the things I was eating, but they were all really darned good. Off the top off my head, what I remember (and know) eating: - fish milt - the ripe testes of a male fish - brussel sprouts with cheese - mackarel, squid and octopus sashmi - grilled leeks - tomato and potatoes (with cheese) - tomatoes were the most amazing thing I've tasted - grilled skewers (chicken heart, chicken collar, chicken thigh) - smoked and pickled daikon with cream cheese - grilled spring onions Verdict: have a go, but go with a Japanese friend (or if you can read Japanese)
