This restaurant was suggested to me from a colleague, a local to Tokyo, because it is his favorite restaurant in town. I went with a group of 11 people and we had an absolutely amazing time. The restaurant is small and our group took up half of the inside seating. We called ahead of time to make sure they would accommodate us, and it's best if you have someone call that speaks Japanese as they don't speak a lot of English. We all ordered the set menu which is a 9 course meal of the chef's choosing. It was incredible! It seemed like an endless stream of delicious dishes perfectly balanced to satisfy the whole spectrum of your tasting palate. On top of that we also had quite a few orders of sake, I think we lost count. There were just two workers on staff and they were professional and very respectful. The evening was long and very fun and the total price was extremely reasonable. We really enjoyed ourselves and see why this is a favorite for my friend!

A local told me this is his favorite restaurant in Tokyo, and I think it just might be mine too. Everything about it is perfect and the service is as friendly and good as you could imagine. The salmon hot pot is absolutely amazing and everything I've had on the menu was sublime.

Delicious food prepared old school style. Takes a while but well worth it.
