This unassuming Japanese izakaya/ pub is highly recommended. Very atmospheric in a traditional Japanese way, with good food that sets it above some others of the same type. The restaurant is apparently well-known for their fried noodles ("Yakisoba") but everything was good (fried pork cutlet and fried chicken were also excellent). Portions are large and filling. The drink selection was typical for this style of restaurant: various sizes of ice-cold beer and alcoholic beverages, as well as a small selection of non-alcoholic teas etc. I've heard their lunch offering is also good too! TIP: Although it was available at the time I arrived, the yakisoba is apparently made/ ready at certain times throughout the day, so be sure to call ahead and check out the times so you can plan your visit accordingly.

Absolutely love the place! It's the real people Japanese experience. Speciality of the house Yaki Soba is special and a must try on the menu. They serve this dish only at night and only take orders at certain hours so get your order in quick. Upstairs is tatami style and downstairs is bench and table style. Highly recommended!

A ittle bit expensive but clean and delicious dishes! great place to drink some beer with nice dishes.
