This place served lovely mackerel lunch set meal, if you like fish. Highly recommend if you at Hanzomon area. I don’t get to eat such fresh produce in Singapore, but yes definitely in Japan.

Lunch set meal featuring dried fish Weekly set meal (dried red fish with soy sauce) 1000 yen Cash only I came here because I wanted to eat some delicious fish. I went around 12:00 on a weekday, and the place was almost full, but the person in front of me had just left, so I didn't have to wait. The weekly set meal comes with three small bowls and comes with free refills of rice, making it very satisfying. The fish was also fatty and the grated soy sauce made it refreshing. Lunchtime is cash only.

Located about 5 minutes from Hanzomon Station. Many of the menu items are grilled dried fish. Ordered one mackerel mirin dried set meal. Came out in less than 10 minutes. The set meal consists of the main dish, rice, miso soup, salad, pickled vegetables, and tofu. One whole mackerel is the size of a plate. The fat is not as strong as regular grilled fish, but the flavor of mirin is strong. It was surprisingly delicious without having to struggle to remove the bones. I ordered a green onion salt salmon set meal on another day. The salmon is not a big fillet, but a few pieces of fat near the tail. Green onion salt is put on it. You can enjoy the fatty salmon and the saltiness of the green onion salt. I received one Shimahokkeho, but I was very satisfied with the quantity. The taste is also greasy and delicious.
