Nerima City, Tokyo, Japan｜Toshimaen Taki

We were looking for a place to eat at around 2pm. The restaurants nearby were closed but this was open. The food were all good and highly recommended. It's a nice break from the ramen dishes.

Small shop and easy to miss. Got the special seasonal curry, karaage, and sweetcorn-seasoned fried yams. It was all delicious. House made ginger ale was also a highlight. Their English is limited but they were very welcoming. Easily recommended.

This is truly a hidden gem, not only in Toshimaen, but also in Tokyo. The restaurant was relatively small but nicely orgranized. Service was beyond my expectation though English menu was unavailable, and staff could not speak English well. The set lunch was amazingly seasoned.
