Chofu, Tokyo, Japan｜Kitakata Ramen BAN NAI Chofu

The new location is a few steps farther from the station but is slightly bigger and brighter. Ramen is still very good and the service is efficient!

Honestly the best ramen I've had in Japan thus far. It is a chain and they even have a restaurant in California somewhere apparently but I've had a lot of ramen in my time living in Japan and this is by far my favorite. It's a Fukushima style ramen and if you go make sure you get that chashu. 10/10 would eat again 😂

The chashu is delicious! Fried rice is also delicious! The flavor is relatively light, so the salty flavor of chashu and fried rice stands out. You can choose thick or thin noodles, but when it comes to Kitakata ramen, it's the thick curly noodles.
