If you are into classic places: This one is Tokyo top 5 for sure ! Food and atmosphere are excellent, very friendly service. The deep fried flat fish (Karei) is Michelin level ! Recommended to make a reservation a few days in advance, 1st floor is where to sit for the full experience. Not cheap

Delicious and fresh menu, great sake selection. Large enough so you don’t feel crowded when you go, even though it’s a popular place.

Traditional Japanese style kappo. To be honest, everything was expensive but quality was very good, staff was very friendly. Locates near the supermarkets (life) at North exit of Nakano station.
