This is an amazing place! There’s authentic atmosphere, kind and friendly service. And the food is delicious! The service is fantastic despite my inadequate Japanese - I only know a few words. A gentleman even came to tell us we ordered too much food! The food was delicious and just fantastic value! The only thing is - I believe they only accept cash as payment, so it might be good to confirm beforehand if you like to pay by card.

What an amazing local place. Even though it was clearly a neighbourhood place for locals the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome, and provided excellent service in English. The food, drinks, service and atmosphere were all excellent, and the bill was very reasonable. Check it out!

There is also a good value-for-money grill shop upstairs. The local tavern’s side dishes and grilled goods are not very expensive, with some skewers only 90yen. There is a stand-alone restaurant near Takadanobaba that has a Chinese menu, and the beef offal parts are low-temperature sashimi, cold and grilled. There are many choices for curious babies to try.
