Shinjuku City, Tokyo, Japan｜Torikyo

This was the best Izikaya I have found in Shinjuku so far. Excellent food, quick service, and the most delicious grapefruit sour I've ever had. I'm always a bit weary of a place that has a spruiker out front, but this was excellent. Welcoming staff and an English menu is nice too. I was the only foreigner in the restaurant which I love and the other patrons were all happy and having a great time, so the vibe was really upbeat and happy. Loved everything that came out of the kitchen, especially the egg which was ridiculously good. Price was surprisingly good as well. Looking forward to coming back soon!

The vibe is awesome. We had the best night in Japan here. Service was quick and friendly and the food was great. Prices are pretty good too. I would highly recommend. But if you don’t like eating where people smoke be aware smoking is permitted.
