As you can see in the picture, a variety of dishes are served as one set meal. The main course was fish, and on this day it was pickled sea bream. The fresh sea bream had a strong flavor, but not too strong. The oshinko (pickles) and nimono (stewed dishes) were also well prepared. The negitoro (minced tuna) that came as an extra dish was of such high quality that it could have been a main dish. It is a very cosy set meal, and I don't know of any other restaurant in Ikebukuro where you can get a fish set meal of this level. The polite waitress and energetic chef are also excellent.

I happened to find it on the street and entered the store. Other people are also written, but the entrance is hard to notice. The day I visited was the general and his wife. Grilled salmon, white rice (with seaweed boiled in soy sauce), miso soup, pickles, simmered dish, and green onion toro (relatively thick) to fill you up. The general was friendly and polite, and although it was a lunch for one person, both of them left me alone. I was grateful. If you want to eat fish, I will ask you again.

Ikebukuro's hidden famous store (may not be hidden) It's a little way into Higashi-dori, but It's hard to find because it doesn't have a big signboard and the frontage is narrow. Grilled fish for lunch is very delicious. They serve fatty fish. Small bowls and miso soup are also delicious, and you can have a healthy and delicious lunch. I think all the fish set meals were 1,000 yen. When thinking about eating grilled fish in Ikebukuro, this is the first place that comes to mind.
