Cool little izakaya serving Tosa cuisine. I went with someone who spoke Japanese so I can't speak to their English ability, but they were accommodating nonetheless. Very traditional tatami rooms with footholes so you don't have to sit cross-legged. The grilled mentaiko, duck, and katsuo no tataki were tasty. It's also cool that you can watch the straw fire they cook on. It can be child friendly if you get a private room.

Good restaurant izakaya in Ginza

We stumbled upon this izakaya and had a very enjoyable dinner. Fantastic grilled tuna, fried chicken, potato salad, pickled vegetables, and cucumbers. Good drinks. Ordering is online, with no obvious English option, but Google translate worked just fine.
