Randomly walked into this place 20 minutes before LO, and was amazed as everything was grilled to perfection. Definitely recommend the signature chicken meatball with soft boiled egg. Others we tried that were unexpectedly good: chawanmushi (nice addition of yuzu), suigo akadori with Japanese plum (very well balanced with the shiso) and grilled rice. Good value for money as well for the entire experience.

Like everything from this izakaya. First the yakitoris are great. Chargrilled with just enough salt for a balanced taste. I especially like their liver. The outside is grilled to a crispy texture while the inside is soft and half cooked. Amazingly, despite the rawness, it doesn't give any weird odor at all. Then their oyakodon is special because they use grilled chicken. This gives the oyakodon a unique chargrilled taste. I guess all yakitori izakaya does this but the good yakitori does make the oyakodon taste even better. Finally their service was pretty fast. I went their twice during dinner hours and didn't have to wait to be seated. And after ordering, they could serve everything within 10 min.
