More Comments at Google MapIt's a rare restaurant where you can enjoy local Yamagata cuisine and alcohol, with shochu and sake lined up inside the store, and the atmosphere was nice and cool. This time I had a course that included all-you-can-drink for 3,800 yen. The contents of the course and the drinks we drank are as follows. I will also write down the individual price for each alcoholic beverage. ・Kirin Ichiban Shibori Premium 530 yen Anyway, this is my first beer. It was an unusual shaped glass with a bulging top. ・Assorted appetizers The appetizer was an assortment of snacks made with ingredients from Yamagata, including konjac balls, shiso rolls, and cream cheese chicken rolls. The chicken rolls are moist and juicy chicken that has been cooked at a low temperature, and topped with a sauce of chopped wasabi and mayonnaise. The chopped wasabi was a little spicier than regular wasabi, but it had a nice aroma, and it was a good snack when combined with the rich cream cheese. ・Land highball 500 yen This is a highball that uses land. It was very easy to drink, with a nice barrel aroma and mild sweetness. ・Assorted 3 pieces of sashimi It was written as 3 items, but there were 4 types: tuna, amberjack, sea bream, and horse mackerel. ・Yamagata B-class gourmet Dondon-yaki It is a flour-based dish that resembles okonomiyaki wrapped around chopsticks. It seems to be a nostalgic dish that has been served at festival stalls in Yamagata for a long time, and Igubee is probably the only place in the Kanto region where you can eat it. The chewy dough contained bonito flakes, seaweed, fish sausage, etc., and it was delicious and you could enjoy different toppings every time you ate it. ・Kuro no Akebono (carbonated) 550 yen It was my first time drinking brown sugar shochu. It has a slightly sweet aroma and a mellow taste, so even people who don't like shochu can drink it. ・Colorful Yamagata cherry chicken salad with homemade dressing A salad topped with plenty of cherry chicken from Yamagata brand chicken. The cherry chicken is tender and goes well with the Japanese-style homemade dressing. It was a pretty hearty salad with plenty of vegetables. ・Red shiso sour This is not on the all-you-can-drink menu, but I was told that red shiso syrup from Yamagata Prefecture had arrived, so I made it into a sour. I received the carbonated shochu and red perilla syrup separately, so I drank it while adjusting the sweetness to my liking. It was very delicious with a nice scent of shiso and a refreshing taste that wasn't too sweet. ・First grandchild 550 yen We also had the first grandchild of Yamagata sake. It is a dry sake that has a strong umami flavor and a well-balanced, refreshing taste that goes well with any kind of food. ・Low-temperature roasted Yamagata Maimai pork served with black salt This is a snack made from Yamagata's branded pork, Yamagata Maiton, cooked at a low temperature. This photo shows a single serving, and the large piece of meat, about 3cm thick, was perfect for eating. Serve with smoked salt or homemade sauce. Because it is slowly cooked at a low temperature, it is very soft and has a concentrated flavor, and although it will fill you up, it will be delicious until the end. ・Directly delivered from Yamagata, soba noodles with soup stock To finish off our meal, we had soba noodles topped with dashi, a dish that is synonymous with Yamagata. Dashi is made by finely chopping summer vegetables such as cucumbers and eggplants and tossing them with soy sauce, giving it a nice crunchy texture and the flavor of the vegetables. It went well with the chewy soba noodles and was the perfect ending. ・Today's dessert The final dessert was maple flavored baked goods and ice cream. The menu was full of things you wouldn't find at a regular izakaya, such as famous dishes made with Yamagata ingredients and local sake, so it was fun. In addition to the menu on the table, there are also daily specials such as today's specials. It's a restaurant with a very nice atmosphere and many regulars, so please come and give it a try.
The original snacks are delicious, and you can also enjoy Yamagata sake and Yamagata cuisine. It feels more like a place where you can casually enjoy delicious food and alcohol rather than a cheap place to drink. Sashimi and meat dishes are especially recommended.
The food was very delicious and the service was excellent. I want to go again.
