A nice place to enjoy kamameshi meal set inside the main building of Ueno station Atre 2F. We enjoyed our family supper here and fish was fresh and tasty too.

Ate their kamameshi pots for lunch. The Sakura shrimp w bamboo was a soft and well blended taste. The salmon and salmon roe pot was nice but the roe does make it taste more salty. Definitely a traditional Japanese meal that lets the flavors of the food speak rather than sauces and spices. So might not be as tasty for some.

Delicious kamameshi and side dishes! The salad may look small in their menu but oh it is very large! Staff was friendly and can accommodate English-speaking foreigners, service was quick and dishes are reasonably-priced
