The food was delicious. Staff speaks no English (or German), but was extremely friendly and we managed to communicate and had a great time. A great place for a local experience!

A nice and cute izakaya near Ueno station. They have Only japanese menu but one of The girl speaks a really good english and helped us with good advice. Great price ✌🏻

In my opinion, the food is very delicious and voluminous, which makes me very happy. It's the best restaurant for people like me who keep eating only what they like. Also, the shochu bottle was prepared in a 1.8 liter bottle, which I was very grateful for. It's the best place for drinkers like me who drink many times a week and have fast refills (2nd time). The shop is friendly and easy to order, and I feel that even if it was my second visit, I would be remembered. You can't see it from the entrance, but there is a small raised area in the back where 5-6 people can sit. We will visit again.
