The restaurant has both counter seats and table seats, making it a restaurant that can be enjoyed by one person or a large group. At Torrenbo, sake is categorized into four categories based on aroma and richness: ``smoked sake,'' ``jukushu,'' ``soursake,'' and ``chushu,'' and the menu has an interesting list of snacks that go well with each type of sake. did. You can choose snacks from the sake you want to drink, or you can choose a sake that looks delicious and goes well with the snacks. In addition, there are recommended menus and sashimi made with seasonal ingredients. It was my first time eating a dish called surinagashi, and it had a gentle taste, similar to porridge. ・Beef offal stew with sake lees miso 860 yen This is one of Torarenbo's specialty menus. The miso-stewed offal is served hot on a hot iron plate, and the miso sauce with sake lees is rich and goes well with alcohol. Not only the jiggly beef offal, but also the boiled egg has a lot of flavor. ・Bakuren 590 yen I ordered Bakuren from the sake selection. This sake has a sharp taste, but you can feel the umami aftertaste, and the aroma is not too strong and would go well with any snack. By the way, 590 yen is half the price. ・Crab cream croquette 2 pieces 780 yen Among the snacks on the menu that go well with the sake, I ordered my favorite, the crab cream croquette. A cream croquette with plenty of crab and macaroni in a creamy and rich cream sauce, which goes perfectly with bakuren. The top was topped with tartar sauce containing chopped mustard greens and crab, and it was one of the most delicious tartar sauces I've ever had. ・Ippongi “Arabashiri” 590 yen For my second glass of sake, I chose Ippongi from among the recommended sakes. As it is called Haruno Junmaishu, it has a sweet spring-like aroma. As soon as I drank it, the gentle sweetness spread out, and it was a sake that lingered until the end. ・Salted salmon potato salad 580 yen The potato salad had plenty of salmon meat and was a Japanese-style potato salad. This potato salad is made to go well with Japanese sake, with less mayonnaise and a nice salty salmon taste. ・MIYASAKA 590 yen I chose MIYASAKA from smoked sake for my third sake because the label looked cool. Since it is a heavily smoked sake, it has a unique mellow aroma. When I drank it, I could feel the slight sourness and strong sweetness of the sake, which had a smooth texture. ・Fried chicken in soy sauce 780 yen Freshly made piping hot fried chicken. The soy sauce has a nice kick to it, and the coating isn't too thick, so it's light and can be eaten in an instant. I think this is the best shop for sake lovers, as there are quite a lot of types of sake available, and some that change daily. It's easily accessible from Otemachi, and the staff were all nice people, so I'd like to use this restaurant again for drinking parties.
