Soul food!

I arrived at 11:30 for lunch and was able to get in without waiting. There was a long line when we arrived at 12:00, so it would be best to make a reservation when the store opens. I think that the daily lunch special for this size and less than 1,000 yen is a bargain in this location. Grilled mackerel has no bones and is very delicious. The rice cooked in the pot is grainy and very delicious. The fillet cutlet is also easy to eat and not too oily. I thought the soup had a slight fishy smell and was bland, but overall I was satisfied. The lunch menu other than the daily specials looked delicious, and although I was seated at the counter, I was drooling as I watched them grill the Nodoguro for the Nodoguro Don.
