``Akagi'' is a Japanese izakaya with an unassuming appearance, hidden in an alleyway just off the main street, hidden among private houses. I wanted to try authentic monkfish hotpot once, and a gourmet friend of mine gave me the thumbs up, saying, ``This place is absolutely delicious!'' In terms of access, Iriya Station is the closest, but it takes less than 10 minutes from Uguisudani Station. I walked from Uguisudani Station. This time, we had the 8-course Monkfish Nabe Course for ¥7,500, plus a 2-hour all-you-can-drink option for ¥2,400. The monkfish hot pot, which is made with a unique blend of miso, was as delicious as the previous reputation! There were no specific brands listed on the menu, so I asked the staff about the lineup, and she pointed to a refrigerator with several bottles of sake and said, ``You can drink everything in there!''
