So glad we found this cute little sushi joint! At first we went for a refuge from the rain, but the owner/chef made us feel immediately welcome with his warm hospitality. As an added treat, he threw in a couple of additional snacks that weren’t on the menu. The place seems very popular with the locals and the quality of the sashimi was really next level. We got the mixed sashimi and some prawn dumplings to share. 10/10 would recommend!

An absolute delight, this locals' restaurant and bar. A short hop over the river from the mayhem of the Asakusa tourist centre hides this authentic gem, family run and family friendly. We were received with real warmth and despite the tables being fully occupied, an older couple finished up quickly so they could offer us theirs. Staff were attentive and helpful and the chef frequently popped out of the kitchen to help with our order and to apologise for an unavailable item. Other nice touches, like dividing up items on separate plates so we could more easily share, and various complimentary items being offered made for a wonderful culinary experience. Best of all was watching the tables of locals enjoying their night out. We left with the chef bowing us out into the warm night air, we bowing in return and making our way backwards down the street. Real hospitality.

One of my favorite restaurants in Tokyo. The food is incredible. The service was the best. They gave us great recommendations and complementary food. I can't recommend this place enough. I will definitely go again when I go back to Tokyo.
