The Nabe boiling pan was a great experience, and the staff was very friendly.

Absolutely amazing place. It feels very authentic. They have an English menu but don't speak all that much English themselves. The waiters are endlessly patient though and willing to give recommendations if you ask. We got the hot pot menu II for 5 people with hot sake and cold green tea and it was just brilliant! The serving size was very fitting. We ordered two small side dishes of duck meat balls and potatoes, and they were just delicious! Although we got more than enough food in the menu the side dishes can be recommended. So lovely. A tip would be to arrive no later than 8 o'clock since the serving takes some time. Also it is worth noting that you will be seated on the floor or small chairs and it is required that you take off your shoes when entering the restaurant.
