I was surprised at how voluminous the takobutsu from the Isokichi set was, along with the fried chicken and fried ham cutlet. The fish is of course delicious, and the ham cutlet is quite voluminous and delicious, and goes well with alcohol.

This izakaya is as beloved by the locals as the nearby Kouraku. It's reasonably priced and has homely customer service. You can do it slowly.

A reasonably priced seafood restaurant. A set menu is available even at night. For 1,000 yen, we recommend the Isokichi set, which includes a drink (alcohol available), mini sashimi platter, and a small bowl, and is very cost-effective.
