A local gem you should definitely eat at if you happen to be in this area. As we stayed at a homestay (nearby we saw this place on the way to the near train station. And it was an excellent pick. We let the chef choose good things for us as the menu was only Japanese and they have no English version (I love places like that). Ended up having a tofu-stew with meat. A large sashimi plate and a vegetable dish. All amazing taste and prepared in an artistic way. The price was definitely worth it, we ended up paying 4,600¥ for 2 people. Sit at the bar to enjoy watching the amazing kitchen crew work in perfect cooperation.

Good Japan food selection, excellent staff and friendly people all around!!!

There was a lot of Japanese food, and the sashimi and carpaccio were especially delicious. The staff were friendly and lively, and the speed of delivery was just right and the service was good. It's a small restaurant, so there aren't any private rooms, but it seems like it can seat up to 12 people (three 4-person tables) depending on the arrangement. I will go again.
