This is a unique and super fun place. A bit hidden but worth the effort to find it. No English menu but the owner is super friendly, amazing drinks and great food. Best of all the music is downright awesome. Highly recommend it and looking forward to going back next time we're in Japan.

Japanese jazz? It was a privately run izakaya where the music was playing. The oolong hai and ham cutlet were really delicious. I don't usually drink highballs, but the aftertaste was so soft and delicious that I ended up having three refills. The snacks are also delicious, ginger potatoes? It was also delicious.
