More Comments at Google MapCozy izakaya restaurant. We've enjoyed tasting season in every dish which is made to be paired with sake. I've visited here four times never seen any English speaking person, no idea that English is acceptable. Google Japan office is moving to neighborhood so might get English friendly. Credit card is unacceptable for years. That won't be changed maybe..
Small cozy-comfortable hard to find shop with a selection of rare sake. This shop started the jizake boom in Tokyo. The food is excellent and slightly pricey but worth every yen. There are diehard regular customers, some coming from over 40 years ago when the owner's parents ran a much bigger shop next to Marui department store.
Even though I always want to eat seasonal foods, In the busy life of the city, we end up with fast foods such as fried chicken. I want to escape from such a life, Since it was spring, I decided to eat "mountain food". This time, I had dinner with a friend from college. Looking at the map, one might wonder if there really is such a show amidst the hustle and bustle of Shibuya, but when you walk around, you will find that it is located on the banks of the Shibuya River and has a calm atmosphere. The store is on the B1 floor, so it may be difficult to find the entrance. As you go down the stairs, there are several counter seats, two tables, and three tatami rooms in the basement. I sat down and ordered beer, Tokutani tomatoes, yellowtail sashimi, and fukinotou tempura. Since it was the beginning of April, I thought I would never be able to eat Fukinoto again, so I was moved by the chance encounter. Tomatoes are very firm and the taste is just like a fruit. It's so good that it's a shame to put seasoning on it. After that, I met up with a friend who came late and ordered sashimi, tempura, yellowtail radish and so on one after another and ended up eating too much. Anyway, the rice is so good that I end up ordering too much. It seems that it takes time to cook rice, so it is good to order early. Sake and shochu seem to be the main types of alcohol, and there is no "Shinshu" alcohol. The selection is made from sake that is generally considered to be good, so there is no shortage of people who want to explore sake that they have never tried before. *It may be timing, but there are not many dry sake. . Overall, it's comfortable, and it's a great place to talk with old friends.
