Daichi is the best lunch place and izakaya at night in Tokyo I think. Actually, Japanese food that we can outside have only lots of carbs and fats so it’s quite hard to have a balanced meal in here. But Daichi has a lot of healthy vegetables meals and these are also very tasty. Daichi, also is the name of the restaurant owner, is also very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend here for anyone :)

I don't think I can express enough how much this lunch hit the spot! It was exactly what I was looking for in a city otherwise inundated with heavier foods. Not to take away from the tokyo food scene (which is amazing) but I find it quite hard to find well prepared complex carbs and fresh salads. The meal was filling and didn't feel too heavy. The potato salad was out of this world with the soft boiled egg on top! The curry with fresh vegetables main dish was perfect as well! I wish i can give more than 5 stars!

The restaurant has a nice clean, modern and yet earthy atmosphere, and the food is amazing. The food is unique, I think it's owner's own creation, some I've never seen anywhere, the ingredients are organic and sustainable. And the owner is super friendly! Highest recommendations!
