Love the sho (salt) ramen👍

Love their gyoza!

This is a long-established and famous store in Komae. I think you can see the appearance of the store from many people's photos. Good old fashioned atmosphere. However, the dishes have their own individuality. You can choose from miso, soy sauce, or salt for your ramen, but since Tanukikoji is a Sapporo ramen restaurant, we recommend miso. I love modern ramen and Iekei, but this kind of ramen definitely makes me feel relieved. By the way, the fried rice is also delicious. I'm impressed by their courage to continue offering ramen that hasn't changed since ancient times without catering to trends, and it's actually delicious, so I can't help but agree. The most famous dish here is the thick-skinned dumplings. The grilled side is perfectly charred, yet chewy and thick, and the filling is juicy and meaty, making these the best gyoza. Gyoza is a dish that everyone has different tastes, and in fact, some of my acquaintances don't like Tanukikoji's gyoza. Many people prefer thinner skin. I love thin-skinned dumplings, but I also love these thick-skinned dumplings. This is a famous gyoza that you must try at least once. The size is about one size larger than a typical gyoza, so if you're ordering it as a main garnish for ramen or gyoza, you'll probably want to order 3 or at most 4 pieces per person. I'm glad that this time-honored restaurant continues to thrive without a break in customers, even if it doesn't lead to long lines.
