More Comments at Google MapWe ordered the Tsukemen Matsu special (noodles with dipping sauce) and the Koku special and they were absolutely delicious! Best noodles we’ve had since being in Japan for 2 weeks! The noodles with the dipping sauce was so full of flavor and umami and the texture was just right (medium). The pork belly had a smoky flavor and was so good. The broth for the Komi Special was amazing and rich. Delicious! Staff was nice and friendly too. Very satisfying meal and would definitely come back next time I’m in Tokyo. Highly recommend this restaurant! We arrived around 5:30pm on a Monday and only waited about 15 minutes. The staff will come out and let 1 party at a time go in and place their order on what looks like a vending machine. Cash only. After you get your ticket, you wait outside until you’re called.
Must say rhe dipping ramen here at tatsunoya is really good! But also equally the queues are really long, we waited for one hour+ before we got it and seated But the ramen was worth the wait as it was flavourful and ramen texture was great Also they remind you not to drink the dipping sauce as they have a “final touch” after you finish your ramen, which is to add congee to the remaining dipping sauce and heat it up for you . And this congee tastes great!!!
Came here again on my second trip to Tokyo, and it’s literally just as good as I remember. I went right before closing and there was a 20 minute wait. The restaurant itself has limited seating, payment is made through vending. They even offered my girlfriend a hairtie to use while eating, which while it was a small gesture, really made me appreciate the level of service they offered. We got the tonkotsu koku, and the spicy tonkotsu. So good. Next time I’ll try the tsukemen which I heard was amazing as well. Definitely worth the wait for me.
