We arrived here early on a semi-wet, semi-cold Saturday. They open at 11-30am, but we were here maybe 15-20 mins early to ensure we wouldn’t be waiting too long. We managed to be at the front of the queue, and by 11-30am there was a long line of people eager to partake of this special ramen experience. The miso broth may not be to everyone’s taste as it is somewhat more subtle than a tonkotsu, and because all of the ingredients here are organic, local fresh produce, the taste is very clean and much lighter than your standard ramen. It’s from Hokkaido, so there are larger noodles also; very different to angel-hair Ichiran. I had the special (1500 ¥‎) and this was exceptional. It had great chashu, in addition to tomago and nori, and a good dollop of fresh grated ginger on top. Despite being a large bowl, I didn’t feel heavy or full afterwards and actually had a spring in my step as we headed to our next location (where we had more food!!). I recommend having some Japanese-language if you come here as it is a vending machine to order, and you’ll need to understand what you are ordering in order to receive the right dish (if in doubt get the 1500 ¥‎ - it is the special one, and has a note beside it).

It is Hokkaido-style ramen, handmade miso-based soup with thick wrinkled noodles. The taste is very gentle and mild because the chef cooks his ramen mostly with natural ingredients. I recommend you try it if you like Miso Ramen.

Very good ramen, recommend
