Love it!! Can't find one in my country so every time I visit Japan I would go for this Abura soba (it's like ramen without a soup.) and try adding the mayo! It makes the taste even better (for me) ❤️ it usually has a queue in front during lunch time but definitely worth the wait!

It was my Tokyo-based brother’s recommendation and he spoke highly of it. He took us there by bus. It’s a short walk from the stop. The place itself is small and the dining area is quite narrow. Probably less than fifteen can fit at one time. The food was excellent! My brother would usually exaggerate but he got it spot on that time. I enjoyed every morsel of the soba. I ordered the spicy soba with poached egg which was around 900 JPY. Service was quick. Ordering was a tad confusing for a Tokyo newbie but the experience was still fun.

Probably obvious to locals, but this ‘soba’ shop is actually dry ramen. No broth at all, instead it’s coated with spices and oil, and it’s absolutely delicious. They do one thing and they do it really well. There’s a vending machine (that even takes IC) out front, which is pretty easy to figure out. There’s more buttons than necessary - it’s just spicy or not spicy, and then you either want it regular, or with additional toppings (A and B options). Regular is plenty delicious but I think frequent diners change up the toppings for variety. Hilariously they offer larger sizes without charging more, making me feel like I need to get the XL. There’s usually a short line outside due to the very few counter-only seating options (fits maybe 10 people). I see lines at night about 4-5 people deep, but it’s definitely worth the wait!
