Come hungry! Very generous portions. The shoyu base was a little too salty for me, but that is my own bias. Char siu slices were thick and tender. Egg was perfectly done. Excellent quality all around.
I don't even know how to pronounce it... But this is--hands down-- my absolute favorite ramen shop. Ever. In fact, this shop is the reason that ramen is now my favorite Japanese food. And this is where the word "oishi" became part of my vocabulary. If we lived closer, we'd be here all the time, and I would definitely weigh a lot more. Their portion sizes are large. They offer a generous portion of pork--and the "extra pork" option is more pork that I've ever seen in a ramen bowl. The noodles are thick, the pork is tender and juicy, the broth is very flavorful and rich, and the egg is cooked perfectly. The cooks always slide our youngest son a complimentary juice box and a couple pieces of candy, just to be nice. The 14-seated shop is warmly decorated, cozy and inviting. To my family, this is simply "our ramen shop".
