This is the best place I’ve eaten in Japan, it’s cheap, local, the owner is sweet. She knows enough English to help you out if you’re like me and know 5 words of Japanese. Highly recommend if you want a nice quiet place to eat after a day or walking Tokyo.

The best ramen ever!

I often go there with my one and a half year old daughter. There are box seats, so if you go around lunchtime there will be fewer people and it's okay for kids to walk around a bit. My child can't wait until it cools down! I cut the tsukemen with the scissors I brought and eat the boiled eggs with my hands. Sometimes I leave my child with my husband and eat warm ramen.
