Minato City, Tokyo, Japan｜Izakaya Minowa Roppongi

A bit a hidden place in plein sight, modest deco, full of Japanese people, so we were assured that it is not another touristic restaurant where they charge you unreasonable fees. The food were amazing, great taste, fresh, very reasonable price. We had fried chicken, ginger pork, ponzu pork, smoked pickled ginger (extremely good, and not to be found anywhere else easily), butter mushrooms, ginger highball, sake and beers. The waitress was very nice and spoke really good English. The only problem was that, I guess any old building in Tokyo, we smell the humidity and the kitchen waste when we walk by the kitchen.

Enjoyed our reunion here with few rounds of drinks -- It's affordable compared to other bars around Roppongi. They have a diverse cocktail menu. Would want to try their meals next time.

Great curry noodles and curry soup lunches here. Go early to avoid the business lunch crowd and queues.
