The vegan ramen is phenomenal!! It was also expensive by Japanese standards, but it IS located in Shinjuku, so perhaps that’s just to be expected. The orders are done through a ticket machine where you choose the items you want to order, and then you hand that tickets that come out to the person manning the front counter. The payment system through that is cashless, so I’m assuming that you can order with cash at the counter if you had to. I ate that bowl of ramen so fast I didn’t get many photos, but that’s just how good it was!!

Beautiful yuzu aroma infused into a light yet flavourful soup base. The chashu was wonderfully charred and the ramen was perfectly al dente. It gets busy around meal times so be prepared to queue up!

This place presents a different flavor of ramen from what we are used to in the West (at least in Europe). The yuzu and parilla give the broth a lemony flavor, very fresh and light.
