More Comments at Google MapMy first Ramen in Japan and it was better than expected! Amazing fish broth with 2 types of noodles. Service with a smile, and you don't feel out of place as a foreigner. You are treated the same. I see reviews of people saying it is too salty. Those are people that shouldn't be reviewing anchovy based broth. It is 100% perfection. If you are not a fish fan, then try a chicken Ramen. This dish was perfect. I recommend just getting the top left selection for 1000 yen if it's your first time. If you decide to order anything else, make to add the money beforehand. I was wanting to add an egg and only put it 1000 yen. That was my mistake, but it didn't matter because the dish was perfection. I definitely recommend to anyone who wants to try Ramen. If you see a line in the ally, you must wait, but it's only about a 20 minute wait for every 10 people in line.
Randomly found this place while wandering Golden Gai. It was my first ramen experience in Japan and it was exactly what I was hoping for. Staff was very friendly and the ramen was delicious. The broth is a little salty and fishy but great. It's a very tight squeeze, only 10 seats I think but it's fine if you're looking to get a meal and be on your way. Worth checking out
Waited about 1 hour 30 min for a great bowl of ramen. The waiting area is in the alleyway but very worth it. There are about 10 seats inside the restaurant so it can get pretty cramped. This is a cash only establishment but the works can give you change if you only have big bills. Ramen itself is very good! You can add more pork, seaweed, or spice. Definitely worth checking out
