I'm so happy to have found my favorite Oginoya Kamameshi restaurant in Tokyo. A small drink set is a good deal. For 1,000 yen, you can get sake (I had Daisetsukei, which was enough for 1.5 cups at Mokkiri), cream cheese dressing, and warm duck stew. It's cute that the bowl is a small version of the kamameshi pot. I think the weekday happy hour sake is a great value. I would like to go there if it was nearby.

I had Kama-meshi from the mountain pass. I am satisfied with the nostalgic bowl and taste. It was raining, but I was there right after exiting the ticket gate at Yurakucho Station. I was able to enter the store without an umbrella.

This shop is a branch of Oginoya, which is famous for Kama-meshi in Touge.In addition to purchasing Kama-meshi, you can also enjoy meals. This is a restaurant where you can enjoy alcohol. Of course, the recommendation here is Toge no Kamameshi, but in addition to the regular Kamameshi, they also carry limited edition items. For example, there is a product called Yurakucho's Kamameshi Gen that is not only available at this store. In this product, the chicken meat used in regular kamameshi has been replaced with beef steak, and special ingredients such as fried shimeji mushrooms, boiled fried yam, and paprika have been added. The price is 1,600 yen, which is more expensive than regular kamameshi, but it's a dish you'll want to try. Inside the store, you can have a drink while eating Kamameshi. However, since the store is small, we do not recommend using it for a large number of people or for long periods of time. It might be a good idea to have a light drink and buy some kamameshi (meal) as a souvenir.
