Very nice place with family atmosphere and good food

This is a store I visited frequently from about 30 years ago to 15 years ago. I wasn't there because I was moving or something. I happened to stumble upon it on Google Maps and read that the proprietress is over 90 years old and working hard, so I decided to give it a try. Enter as soon as it opens at 17:30. The landlady said she remembers me even though my name doesn't appear! happy. While having a lively conversation, we ate oden and other menu items, and my son's cooking was delicious! ! ! ! The seared chicken thighs, fried local chicken, and fried mentaiko spring rolls are all delicious. I didn't even have time to take photos. Not only beer, chuhai (high spirits), and sake, but also sweet potato shochu are available. Although it's rude to women who were born in Asakusa, it's also fun to interact with the proprietress, who has a good spirit.

I had some business to do around Sendagi Station, so I went into an alley looking for a small izakaya and found a very quaint noren curtain. Although we couldn't see much inside, my friends and I unanimously agreed to enter the store due to its good old fashioned appearance. I didn't know what to do if there were only regulars, but the 90-year-old female owner welcomed me warmly. The customers were young couples who were just looking at first glance, and the L-shaped counter was filled with 5 people including us. I saw the words Satsuma Chaya right in front of me, so I didn't hesitate to order it with hot water. I couldn't decide which oden I was interested in because there were menus all over the wall, so I decided to order an assorted platter. Everything was delicious and had a lot of flavor 🍢 This is a store that I would definitely like to visit again.
