Bunkyo City, Tokyo, Japan｜Ramen Hidamari

Excellent ramen! We had both, hot and cold and the flavors were amazing. You order via the vending machine and they knew we would struggle, so they had us have a seat, gave us a menu and took our order. That was very kind of them.

Excellent shio (clear/salt based) and shoyu (soy sauce added) ramen in Yanaka. The option with the freshly barbecued pork was phenomenal. The beer (forgot the name, green bottle) was crisp and refreshing with it. Lovely experience dining at this little “mom and pop” place run by a couple. Closes at 5pm so ideal for a (late) lunch. Cash only and prices are fair for the very high quality of food (around 1000 yen for ramen and 500 for the beer).

The best ramen I’ve ever had. Ever. Must try!
