Tantanmen with broth, phenomenal ramen. Medium spice is great, I would try hot next time but anyway. Very good

This little shop on the corner is super close to the Sky Tree and offers delicious Hiroshima style brothless TanTan noodles (they have one broth offering if you're really craving some liquid). We visited with our two year old (they were very good with her, although she was fairly quiet as she loves noodles) - the set meal is wonderful, delicious, and filling in a carb overload sort of way! This would be perfect for a warm up on a cooler winter day.

Small one man ramen shop near the Skytree in Sumida. The ramen here is better than some of the Michelin ramen I have had in Tokyo. I also tried the Hiroshima style no-soup ramen which was delicious. Must get the set that comes with white rice and an egg yolk that you mix in to soak up the sauce after you finish your ramen. A real 5-star shop, cool owner, epic food. Will go back again and again!
